How to Report PQRI and e-Prescribing Charges

VersaForm versions 3.142 and above have a Setup, Preferences checkbox, "Automatically include $0.00 charges on claims" that is checked by default so PQRI and e-Prescribing codes will be marked to bill automatically.

In VersaForm 3.141 and below, you need to take one extra step in order to create claims with PQRI or e-Prescribing codes; you need to mark the charge to bill because VersaForm assumed that you would not want to bill $0.00 value charges.

After you enter the charge, you will see something like:

Either click in the Ins1 column for the PQRI or e-prescribing code line, or right click on the code line and choose Claim and Payment Details.

The Payment, Adjustment and Insurance Details window will open:

Right click on the Status line and choose Rebill or mark for first billing.

The Status will change to BILL:

Note: The PQRI or e-Prescribing codes must be on the same claim as the charge code for the visit.

VersaForm versions 3.143 and above are fully qualified for the 2% Medicare bonus for Electronic Prescribing. See Changes in Electronic Prescribing in Version 3.143 for more information.
