Visit Plans
The Visit Plan is a printout that includes a summary of the patient’s key clinical indicators (medications, test results) and presents the alerts that apply to that patient. By having the alerts on paper, you have the needed information even if you don't use a computer during patient visits. You can use it to alert you to the patient’s conditions, and also to the actions you need to take to qualify for P4P and PQRI.
Visit plans can be printed in advance for all the day's scheduled patients, or they can be printed at will for unscheduled visits.
The visit plan has space reserved for your notes and results. Thus after the visit, it would serve to record your actions for filing with the patient's chart or for entry back into VersaForm.
