VersaForm 3.141 Backup Problem

Some new installations, not upgrades, of VersaForm 3.141 are having problems with backups.

If you get a backup error message from VersaForm, you can probably fix it yourself.

Download and Run the new Checkback2005 Program

    • On the computer that is the SQL Server, download checkback2005.exe and save it to your VersaForm 3.0\Tools folder.
    • You will probably have to agree to replace the existing file.
    • Click here to download checkback2005.exe.
    • Use Windows Explorer to go to the VersaForm 3.0\Tools folder.
    • Double click on checkback2005.exe to run it.

    • If checkback2005.exe does not complete successfully ( you get any Return code that is not 0 ) and you have VersaForm tech support, call 800-999-6081and we will be glad to help you. If you do not have tech support, please call Sales at 800-678-1111.

Run a manual backup in VersaForm to make sure you have fixed the problem

  • Log into VersaForm as a User that has Administrative Authority.
  • Click on the Setup button.
  • Click on the Backups Tab.
  • Click on the Manual Backup button.
  • If the backup completes successfully, you have fixed the problem. If not, you may need to call Tech Support for help.
