MD VersaForm and Windows 2000/XP
MD VersaForm operates well in a Windows 2000 or XP format. A DOS window will open and the program will run smoothly. However there are two possible problems: 1) The screen shows too many lines and 2) The mouse does not work correctly. To address these problems follow these steps:
NOTE: if VersaForm is taking up the entire screen press Alt+Enter to put the program into a window.

Note the icon in the upper left corner. Click on this icon. Click on the word “Properties”. The following dialog will open:

In the box for “Edit Options” clear any check marks in the field “Quick Edit Mode”. This action will allow the mouse to work correctly when in VersaForm.
Now click on the “Layout” tab.

Be sure the “Height” in the “Screen Buffer Size” box reads “25”. Also make sure the “Height” in the “Window Size” reads “25”.
To change the size of the window, click on the “Font” tab.

Change the size selection in the “Size” list.
When you have made all the changes you need click on “OK”.

Make sure the “Save properties for future windows with same title” has been selected and click on “OK”.
Now exit VersaForm and then re-start it. Your changes will be in place.
NOTE: to return to full screen from a windows mode press Alt+Enter. If you close in full screen mode the system will open in full screen mode at the next start up.
