AutoPrompt will not turn off

Problem: The AutoPrompt field is checked "N" in System Setup and User Setup but it is on each time the Ledger is started.

Cause: The preference file has a "Y" in the AutoPrompt field.

Solution: Open the preference file and change the "Autoprompt" field to "N".

Keystrokes: From the Patient Ledger:

Press <Alt+F1> to open the Ledger Procedure Menu

Select item #7 "Preferences"

Put the cursor in the "Autoprompt" field and type "N"

Press <F2>. The form will be saved and you will be returned to the Ledger.

Notes: Settings in the "Preference" file are reflected in a "Manager" record in the User Setup file. Using the "Utility Menu" to turn off Autoprompt will work until you close the Ledger and re-open it, if the Preference setting is "Y".
