Care Plan Oversight ID - Medicare - NDC

Problem: Customer needs to have the Care Plan Oversight ID appear in their electronic claims.

Cause: New requirement from Medicare.

Solution: Complete a facility form in the Facility.vfm file. Put the special ID in the "Default_ID_Number" field.

Keystrokes: From the MD VersaForm Main Menu:

Select item #4 "Setting Up MD VersaForm" and press <Enter>

Select item #5 "Enter Facilities" and press <Enter>

Fill in the information called for on the form. The assigned ID needs to be in the "Default_ID_Number" field.

When completed press <F2> to save the record.

Press <Alt+X> to return to the "Installation Menu", then select item #13 to return to the main menu.

Notes: This applies to customers using NDS/ETS only. For customers using one of our direct to Medicare packages we have a fix disk available.
