Clear Page 3 Procedure
Page 3 of the Patient Ledger file has fields tht contain ancillary hospitalization claim information. While these fields might be needed for the creation of a specific claim, they are often times not needed for subsequent claims. Unless the user remembers to edit or remove Page 3 data, it will find its way on the next claim. If it is inconsisstent with the treatment and charges of the new claim, this inappropiate data might confuse or befuddle the processor.
Edit START.LEG in the \procs sub-directory. Add the variables – Page3, Last_Pat and Last_Acct.
Modify *checking to look like the following:
Re-compile both procedures. When entering new data and pressing <F1> or <F2> the user will be asked if Page 3 data should be cleared from the Ledger.
