Creating a Single Claim

When a charge is entered and insurance information has been entered for the patient a "B" is placed in the "I1", "I2", "I3" or "I4" field. This "B" is an indication that the charge is billable to an insurance company. To create a claim:

Press <Alt-F1>. The Procedure Menu will appear,

Select 1, Insurance Claims. The Insurance Claims Menu will be displayed.

Select 1, Create Insurance Claims for This Patient. After a moment, you will be see:

Answer Y for Yes. Then you'll be asked:

Normally, you would not view the claim. Press <Enter> to accept the "N". The claim will be created.
