HCFA Box 19

Problem: Medicare or other insurance carriers are requiring special information be printed in box 19 of the HCFA form.

Cause: For certain practices Medicare will require information in box 19 of the HCFA form (like X-ray information). Other carriers may have similar needs.

Solution: Place this information in the "Just1" field of the Patient Ledger.

Keystrokes: From the Patient Ledger:

Press <Ctrl+PageDown>

The "Just1" field is near the bottom on the left side.

Notes: Any information placed in this field will be printed in box 19 of the HCFA form.
