How to re-compile all procedures Problem: Calculations are not correct, data does not appear to be where it belongs. Cause: The source codes needs to be re-compiled. Solution: Force a re-compile by running the procedures associated with the .VFM file. Keystrokes: From the VersaForm XL Main Menu: Select option #8 - "Enter or Change Procedures". If the default path is not where your files are located change the path statement. Press <Enter> Type in the name of the .VFM file you are working with (for example "LEDGER.VFM"). The "Procedures Instruction" screen will be presented. Press Alt+F1, answer "Y" then <Enter> to the question you see and the system will recompile all procedures. Notes: Occasionally the system may be corrupted, or in the process of copying data one of the procedures got corrupted. Re-compiling will refresh the code and assure that all things are in operational order from a programming point of view.
