Install Failed - Disk Space

Problem: While installing an upgrade the install program fails with disk space error - yet there is lots of disk space available.

Cause: The Install program we used to use did not work on disks that were larger than about 900 megabytes. You can recognize this file by its size on the install diskette (Install.exe is about 120,000 bytes big). The newer Install program can be recognized by its size (est. 266,000 bytes).

Solution: Copy the entire VF directory onto a smaller drive (smaller than 1 gig) and do the install on this drive. When completed copy the upgraded files to the original drive.

Notes: This problem generally occurs with upgrades from Version 6 to Version 7.
