Invalid/Missing Claim Type - NDC (ETS)

Problem: Error message from NDC (ETS) says: "Invalid/Missing Claim Type - Process Locally"

Cause: The ETS_Code field in the Insurance Plan File has not been filled in.

Solution: Fill in the ETS_Code field in the Insurance Plan File. A pick list is available.

Keystrokes: From the Ledger:

Press Alt-F10

Select "Insurance Plan File" and press <Enter>

Locate the insurance plan in question.

Press Ctrl+RightArrow to get to page 2 of the form.

Put the cursor in the ETS_Code field. Press Alt+L to see the pick list.

Highlight the appropriate ETS Code and press <Enter>

Press F2 to save the form.

<Alt+X> will exit this file and open the "Choose File Menu". Choose "Patient Ledger" and press <Enter>.

Notes: If this field has not been filled in on the "Insurance Plan File" record it will not appear in field I1_ETS on page 3 of the claim form. Also, make sure the claim type being used is valid.
