Message Log Errors

The Message Log has old data. This is how to correct the problem.

From the Ledger press <Alt+10> you will get the Choose File Menu.

Select the item "Open another file", third from the bottom.

When prompted for the drive and path press <Enter> or type in the correct drive and path and then press <Enter>.

When asked for the file name type "msglog.vfm" and press <Enter>.

You will now see the "msglog" screen. Press <F4> and then <Enter>. Locate the date for the old data and open that record.

Press <Alt+R> to remove the record. Respond "Y" when asked if you want to destroy this form.

Press <F9> to clear the record and respond with "Y" when asked if it is OK to go on without saving the record.

Repeat this process for each date with old data.

When done press <Alt+X> to return to the Choose File Menu.
