Name Change Loses Transaction Data

When a patient's name has been changed the transaction records for that patient do not change t the new name. An error will then occur when aging, printing statements, or creating claims.

The transaction records need to be re-created. Follow these steps:

In a patient record place the cursor on a line with a charge. Place the cursor in the "D#" field of that line.

Press the <Alt+L> keys to create a transaction record for that line.

Be sure that the information is correct – Referring Physician, Facility, Lab information, Diagnosis Codes, etc.. When the information is correct press <F2> to save the Transaction Record and then <F2> again to save the Ledger Record.

Repeat this process for every line that has a charge.
