Posted payments/charges are not appearing in a statement

Problem: When printing statements some line items from the Ledger do not show up.

Cause: There may be a "N" in the "S" column for the line item that is not showing.

The date of the posting may be in the future - in the "Date" field of the line involved.

Solution: The "N" in the "S" column tells the system to repress printing this line on a statement. To have it show on the statement remove the "N" and validate <F1>.

If the posting date is in the future change it to the current system date.

Notes: The "PatBal" statement form works in a different manner. It always prints the line. You are given the option to show the patient amount due in the "Pay Now" column or $0.00. This option is found in the "Statement Printing Options" dialog box. From the Patient Ledger:

Press <F8>

Select item #1 or #2 for printing statements and press <Enter>

Highlight the printing format for your statements then press <Enter>

When asked about changing the options answer "Y"

Fill in the field titled "Show PAYABLE NOW as zero on insurance pending charges?":

A "Y" in the this field will show the line with a "$0.00" in the PAYABLE NOW column, a "N" or nothing here will show the amount in the "PatBal" field of the Ledger.

Press <F2> to save your choice.
