Removing Multi-Doc

This does not remove a Doctor from the practice, this removes the ability to have multiple Doctors on the menu.

To remove the Multi-Doc feature follow these steps:

From the MD VersaForm Main Menu select #6

From the VersaForm XL Main Menu select #2

The drive and path will be displayed. Change if needed. Press <Enter>.

When asked for a file name type <appmenu.vfs> and press <Enter>

In the "VersaForm Menus" screen press <F4>

Type "VF" and press <Enter>.

Locate the records that reads "vf /main" and press <Enter>

Remove this record by pressing <Alt+R>, answer "Y" to remove this record, press <F9> and answer "Y" to go on without saving.

Press <F4>, type in "VF" and press <Enter>.

From this list choose one of your existing doctors – for example "vf /first" – then press <Enter>

You will see a record that looks like this:

Delete the characaters in front of "\ledger" on line #1 ("first" in the illustration above).

Change the top of the form to look like the following:

Press <F2> to save your work. Now press <Ctrl+RightArrow> to go to page 2. You will see a sceen like this:

The "Arg 2" field has the name of the directory for this doctor. Remove all of this informaiton. Press <F2> to save your work.

Press <Alt+X> to quit the menu. Select #9 to return to the MD VersaForm Main Menu.

The multi-doc feature has been disabled.
