Report and Letter Issues

Here are some tips and hints that apply to processing reports, creating reports and modifying some of the built in letters that ship with VersaForm.

Accounts Receivable Reports – What Accounts Receivable Reports do and how to get accurate data.

Add a blank line between detail lines on a report - Customer wants to have a blank line between each detail line on a report.

Adding a Custom Print Format to the Patient Ledger Print Menu - How to add the option to print a custom print format to the Patient Ledger Print Menu (F8).

Change date format from 10 digits to 8 digits - Dates on HCFA's are printed as mm/dd/yyyy. The customer needs the format to be mm/dd/yy. The need may be for electronic claims processing by a third party or some special need from an insurance carrier.

Custom Labels – Customer wants to create custome labels.

Date of Birth Format – Customer wants DOB in a print format to read mm/dd/yy and it currently reads mm/dd/yyyy.

Modify the Appointment Reminder Letter - Customer wants to modify the text or style of the letter sent to patients to remind them of their appointments.

Modifying the Tracer Letter - Customer wants to modify the text or style of the Tracer Letter.

Monthly Reports - Changing - How to change reports that are run on a monthly basis.

Printer Codes - Changing - How to change printer codes (condensed print, 10 CPI, portriate, landsacpe, etc.)

Printing from DOS under NT - Customer is having diffuculty printing VersaForm report on an NT workstation.

Print One Tracer Letter – Customer wants to print only tracer letter – not a whole batch of them.

Reports are not showing duplicate data – When printing reports (like Deposits) duplicate entries are not showing on the report, but the totals appear correct.

Slow Printing under Windows - Customer is experiencing slow or delayed output from the printers when operating under Windows.
