Tips and questions on using MD VersaForm under the Windows NT Platform:

File system to use - VersaForm should operate well unde the NTFast File System or the FAT file system.

Quote from Joe – "VF doesn't care. I personally recommend two partitions, one FAT for the NT system itself, the seocnd NTFS for everything else. Or FAS, it you want to be able to run ODS or 95 on it."

Assigning a printer from the command line – Use the following commands at the command line to assign a printer –

To assign the devicename LPT1: to the LASER2 shared-printer queue on the \\ACCOUNTING server, type:net use lpt1: \\accounting\laser2

To disconnect from the LPT1: printer queue, type: net use lpt1: /delete

To restore the current connections at each logon, regardless of future changes, type: net use /persistent:yes
